Hi! I’m Lisa

In 2018, after decades of struggling to lose weight (before and after kids), I discovered Trim Healthy Mama. I was 250 lbs and scared that I would never figure out how to break the sugar addiction and lose the weight for good. I was tired of being tired, and wanted to have more energy for my family. I had no idea what it was about, but I bought the book and dove head first into the philosophy and the lifestyle.

One of the biggest game-changers for me was that the plan book addressed the mindset issues right out of the gate that often are the reason we fail – disappointment, impatience, and perfectionism. THM gave me the tools to overcome these issues (with time and lots of grace), and now I am fully “on plan” without any difficulty and maintaining my 100 POUND weight loss for 3 years.

I am a busy mother of two daughters who also works outside the home as a family medicine Physician Assistant. Believe me, I understand the struggle of making a healthy diet fit into a busy/crazy schedule! I have worked with many mamas who are busy, working, and with families who are all trying to optimize their health and lose weight with THM.
